We work closely with the Sustainable Restaurant Association to make sure the impact we have on our world is a positive one. This year, we were awarded an incredible THREE STARS - the highest star rating available and a truly astonishing (but nonetheless true!) achievement for any restaurant business. We received a 100% score for our community work - good stuff.
Our banner that we made with @jessdewahls and @4refugeewomen standing proud at yesterday's #processions2018 in central London. Soon it'll be hanging up in Westm...
Donating our time is invaluable, but we also pay our staff for volunteering opportunities with charities close to their hearts and local to our cafes.
The Good Day Productions volunteering programme is funded by sales from our Green Is Good juice, as well as profits from sales of our merchandise.
Every year we run a once-in-a-lifetime charitable adventure where staff are given the opportunity to fundraise for a worthy charity or cause. Previous years have seen us taking on THE BEAST, where 32 of us tackled 5 marathons in 5 days across the Florida Keys. We’ve also run/walked 100km in 1 day in the 2017 South Coast Challenge!
We only use suppliers that have similar social, environmental and ethical standards to our own.
Sustainably sourced & local where possible. You’ll be pleased to know all of our animal products are UK sourced and have the BRC certification.
Big up Joe’s Tea Co, Karma Cola and Union Hand Roasted Coffee - three ethical drinks suppliers that we proudly stock.
We don’t use any palm oil, where possible we don’t use airfreighted goods and we recycle our food waste into energy.
